The Design and Realization of Digital IF Processing System of Microwave Multifunctional Analyzer

new realization of digital IF processing system of microwave multifunctional analyzer is presented in this paper. Firstly, the feasibility and necessity of the multifunctional analyzer are elaborated from three primary aspects. Based on the analysis, the digital IF processing system that implemented by using Xilinx Artix-7 FPGA/CPLD on our hardware platform is described in detail. Finally, both simulation and test results are employed to illustrate the function and performance of each module of system. A series of experiments of different measurement modes have demonstrated that this system could offer several IF processing routes and stable performance. Simultaneously it can also significantly reduce the costs and improve the efficiency of measurement in field.
