摘要
Shoulder arthroscopy is one of the most technically demanding joint operations. There are many publications on specific surgical and standard procedures. Unfortunately, there is little information material available on general and fundamental aspects, such as the principles for improvement of visualization, which should be considered during shoulder arthroscopy, from both surgical and anesthesiological perspectives. Adequate intraoperative visibility is a prerequisite for high-quality arthroscopic treatment of patients. This can be positively influenced by both the surgeon and the anesthesiology team. This requires procedural standards as well as communication and teamwork on both sides. This article presents both surgical and anesthesiological measures, which can be used to optimize the arthroscopic visualization but play only a minor role in the general training.
