Solar neutrino spectroscopy with BOREXINO and recent results from the CTF experiment

摘要
The main objective of the BOREXINO detector is to measure the monoenergetic Be-7-solar neutrino flux (E-nu = 862 keV) by neutrino-electron scattering in a liquid scintillator target. To study the radiopurity of the detector components, and to check the feasibility of BOREXINO a small scale prototype detector, the Counting Test Facility (CTF), has been installed in the Gran Sasso Underground Laboratory in Italy. In this article the current status of the experiment and recent results from the CTF are reported.
