The Historias de Tirso de Molina relatadas a los ninos by Maria Luz Morales: Relationship with Hypotext and Transcoding

This work studies the children's adaptation of three comedies by Tirso de Molina, carried out by Maria Luz Morales and published during the Edad de Plata in the collection "Obras maestras al alcance de los ninos" of Araluce. The relationship between the Tirsian dramatic hypotexts and their narrative hypertexts is analysed, focusing on the different procedures adopted by the author at a formal and content level, and it is concluded by stating that Morales' intention responds to the need to adapt to the new infantile receptor and to the new cultural and literary context.
