摘要
In this paper, a five-phase hybrid-excitation flux switching (HEFS) machine with "E"-core stator cell is proposed and analyzed. The topology and operation principle are investigated. Moreover, the armature winding connection method is analyzed and the analytical sizing equations are derived to determine the main design parameter of HEFS machine. The electromagnetic performance, including the conventional static characteristics, such as phase flux, back-EMF, cogging torque, electromagnetic torque and flux-regulation capability are analyzed by means of finite-element analysis (FEA). Furthermore, the performances of HEFS machine are verified by the prototype machine. Meanwhile, the predicted results indicate the proposed machine exhibit larger torque capability, lower torque ripple and wider range of speed regulation, which is especially suitable for electrical vehicles (EVs) and hybrid electrical vehicles (HEVs) applications.
