摘要
Mixtures of triblock copolymer EO20PO70EO20 and cationic surfactant CTAB have been used as mixed templates for the synthesis of mesoporous silica with tailored pore structures and exterior morphologies. Compared with the mesoporous silica obtained by using single copolymer template, the pore structure of the mesoporous silica obtained by using the mixed templates is less ordered and its pore size decreases with decreasing weight fraction of the copolymer in the mixed templates under the studied conditions. Micrometer-sized mesoporous silica spheres ( 1.5 similar to 4 mum) with smooth surfaces, which have an average pore size of 3.2 nm and a BET surface area of 972 m(2)/g, can be prepared at 1: 1 weight ratio between EO20PO70EO20 and CTAB.
