摘要
The objective of the contribution is to present on the basis of professional literature research the basic methods of defect diagnostics of moving railway vehicles on the Czech railway network. The contribution first presents individual types of vehicles detected defects and subsequently, the principles of detecting such defects and special devices (systems) for vehicles diagnostics. The defects and technologies described are then demonstrated on relevant diagrams and figures in the text. The final part of the contribution mentions the connection to higher management information systems as one of the important pillars of the automation of the entire information transfer process.
