The ability to take medication independently is a central aspect of independence for people with epilepsy. The complexity of a drug regimen that may be a problem for any person can be more difficult for people with cognitive or memory deficits. This paper provides suggestions for identification of partial compliance and methods to help patients improve medication compliance.
