摘要：

World production of textile stock in 2001 dropped for the first time in recent years. Manufacture of chemical fibres decreased by 1.2%, including synthetic fibres by 1%. China was the leader and capacities were cut in Western and Eastern Europe, the USA, South Korea, Japan, Taiwan, and Thailand. The share of polyester fibres in the world balance of textile stock increased to 67%, and manufacture and expansion of the assortment of polipropylene fibres, Spanbond, etc., increased.
