摘要
This paper presents an optimized Radio Frequency Identification chipless tag based on substrate integrated waveguide technology with a reduced size, and a high quality factor. The tag operates in a sub-band of the Ultra Wide Band from 7 to 7.5 GHz. It consists of using the frequency encoding approach based on frequency shifting technique; allows obtaining an important number of encoding states by changing the resonant peak position in the operation band. The frequency shift is achieved when changing the substrate parameters by drilling via holes or metalized via. The tag is designed; simulated and optimized ensuring improved results compared to existed designs based on the same used techniques, which proves that the proposed configuration is very suitable for short range applications of identification.
