摘要：
An error diffusion method is well known as one of the half-toning methods for displaying grey tone pictures on a bilevel display. However, the error diffusion method has some shortcomings, such as the appearance of correlated artefacts and directional hysteresis. To defeat these shortcomings, the author proposes a new error diffusion method with perturbation.
