摘要
Optical properties of pyrolytic carbon deposits were studied using measurements of extinction angle by polarized light microscopy. The optical parameters of pyrolytic carbon deposits including the extinction angle value were defined by its texture approaching the ideal structure of graphite. The measurement of extinction angles was found to be a convenient method for a qualitative description.
