摘要
The total power loss of electrical steel sheet under two dimensional excitation can be measured directly. The separation of the total power loss into its components, eddy current loss, hysteresis loss and the so called anomalous loss, depends on some assumptions concerning the physical behaviour of electrical steel sheet and is not accessible by direct measurements. A mathematical description of the non-linear and anisotropic behaviour of electrical steel sheet under two dimensional excitation including the field penetration into the bulk of the material allows the direct calculation of the loss components for arbitrary two dimensional flux conditions. The results of this calculation are compared to those obtained from a loss separation by a frequency variation.
