In this paper, we characterize the eigenvalues and show existence of positive solutions to discrete boundary value problem (here phi(s) = vertical bar s vertical bar(p-2)s, P > 1 and lambda > 0 is a parameter) {Delta(phi(Delta u(i - 1))) + lambda(i, u(i)) = 0, i is an element of N = {1, 2,..., T}; u(0) = u(T + 1) = 0.
