摘要
Problem solving in real-world contexts involves multiple ways of knowing and teaming. Intelligence in the real world involves not only teaming how to do things and actually doing them, but also the ability to deal with novelty as well as the capacity to adapt, select and shape our interactions with the environment. A problem-based learning system require a shift in paradigm from traditional analytic systems to holistic multi-dimensional thinking systems. Cognitive processes are central involving the collection, connection and communication of information and data. Facilitating inquiry for deeper teaming is a major challenge and the system develops the abilities to ask good questions. The use of technology is not only a tool but an important catalyst to enhance problem-based thinking. Developments in e-learning environment and the inherent design of e-systems fit naturally into the problem-based teaming cycle and system.
