摘要
Most of the previous studies on this topic have attempted to discuss technological innovation at the firm or industry levels. In this study, however, technological innovation is discussed at the national level to provide policy implications. This paper presents an empirical study in which we used Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA) to evaluate the efficiency of manufacturing technological innovation of 34 countries. Then, we calculate slack variables and projection variables by which inefficient DMUs can improve their efficiency. Finally, we expect that the findings here will serve to provide directions for policy-making.
