摘要
The article aims one reflection about the principal attacks on the rights of indigenous nations in Brazil which were intensified during the Covid-19 pandemic. This is an exploratory study whose emphasis is on the analysis of more recent publications to deal with the theme which contributes to the various sectoral policies. In this way, it is used the Literature Review Methodology with emphasis on the systematizations elaborated by the indigenous and indigenist organizations. The intention is seeking to highlight the most critical points of this historical and unfinished social protection policy for the indigenous nations in our countries. The text does not only focus on the study of a single people, but also has the objective to highlight the widespread attacks on these social groups, centered on indigenous issues and their relationship with social rights and (non)social protection. Traditional peoples can offer us precious lessons in their ancestral self-care practices which extend to the entire community.
