摘要
The Right Information: Information skills for a 21st century Scotland, is an online community of practice, created in 2012 to bring together information professionals and other interested parties, primarily in Scotland but also elsewhere and is open to everyone interested in information literacy and associated skills. It has the full support of the information profession in Scotland. It brings together people from different information sectors and those outside the profession to share expertise on information literacy development. Communication is primarily online but face to face meetings are held twice a year. Through contacts with other bodies it seeks to promote the information literacy agenda within Scotland and influence decision makers. A short case study is included illustrating how these aims are promoted. The Scottish Government's digital participation agenda has proved to be a significant factor in developmental activity.
