Controller design for optimal asymptotic tracking

摘要
An approach is described to design a controller with fixed order so that the closed-loop poles are located at prescribed positions and the system output tracks the reference signal while minimising the energy of the error between the output and the reference signal. An example is given to demonstrate the simplicity of the proposed approach.
