摘要
Conditions that permit the assembly of metal-oxygen isopolyhedra into fullerene topologies favor the hexagonal bipyramid as the basic building unit. Uranyl hexagonal bipyramids containing two peroxide edges have been used to create a cage cluster with a fullerene topology containing 50 polyhedra (see picture), as well as cage cluster of 40 polyhedra that contains topological squares, pentagons, and hexago.
