The Sr2SiO4:Eu3+ phosphor was synthesized by sol-gel method. The excitation and emission spectra were investigated. The emission spectrum of Sr2SiO4:Eu3+ showed several bands, and the main peak value was 618 nm. The excitation spectrum for 618 nm emission had several excitation bands at 320, 397, 464, and 518 nm. The effect of Eu3+ concentration on the emission spectrum intensity of Sr2SiO4:Eu3+ was investigated, and the results showed that the emission spectrum intensity increased with increasing Eu3+ concentration, and reached the maximum value at 7%(x) Eu3+, then decreased. Under the condition of doping 7% Eu3+, the effect of Li+ concentration on the emission spectrum intensity of Sr2SiO4,:Eu3+ was studied, and the emission spectrum intensity increased with increasing Li+ concentration, and reached the maximum value at 8%(x) Li+, then decreased.
