摘要：
The importance of skills such as decision making, setting priorities, working in teams, running meetings, and negotiating for engineering graduates fresh out of engineering school is discussed. These skills are not taught in the engineering school but are required to be learned practically. Tips for improving these skills include reading, writing, public speaking and coordinating with immediate peers.
