摘要
In this paper, we propose a serial signal detector (SSD) for time-reversal space-time block codes to combat intersymbol interference in frequency-selective fading environments. In order to achieve single symbol detection, we consider the effects (covariance) of the undetected signals instead of treating them as noise and use the already-detected symbols to help current signal recovery. Simulations show that the new scheme can provide a performance very close to maximum likelihood sequence estimator (MLSE) in a time-invariant condition with complexity in the same order with MMSE. Results for doubly-selective fading channels demonstrate that the proposed scheme greatly outperforms the conventional MMSE like receiver.
