摘要：
Digital collections are an important part in the development of university library collections. This paper discusses the rational distribution and main contents of digital collections and ways to construct it. The author thinks that the rational distribution of university libraries collection determines the main contents of the digital collection, which generally includes five main parts: digitalized e-books, core journals, multimedia database, institutional repository and characteristic collection. Librarians must make strategic plans and put forward corresponding schemes before they get down to work.
