Long-term corrosion resistance and friction-induced antibacterial enhancement of CrMoSiCN coating on Ti6Al4V alloy

摘要
The long-term corrosion resistance of CrMoSiCN coating is investigated in seawater using the electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) technique; it proved that the long-term corrosion resistance is improved by the reaction layer formed on the CrMoSiCN coating during the long-immersion test. It demonstrated that CrMoSiCN coating could provide a long-term protective effect on Ti6Al4V alloy. Besides, a novel method enhanced the antibacterial effect of CrMoSiCN coating induced by friction behaviors is reported. The antibacterial test showed that the H3O+ and H2MoO4 generated by friction-induced behaviors could effectively kill the bacteria.
