摘要：
The main objectives of the present study are: a) to give an extended historic background of the geological and geotechnical investigations which were carried out after the Panagopoula great landslide, and the construction measures for the confinement of the landslide and b) to propose new works (based on the results of the up today investigations and on the monitoring of inclinometers) for the shorterm stability and new investigations which will help to suggest the necessary works for the longterm stability in the area.
