摘要
We experimentally characterize a transparent and bidirectional fibre-wireless-fibre link with a wide field-of-view >60 degrees (full-cone) at a transceivers' range of similar to 3 metres. The potential for indoor Terabit data rate via wavelength division multiplexing techniques is demonstrated. The use of single-mode vs multi-mode fibres is also explored using a holographic beamsteering setup. The angular steering accuracy required for the multi-mode fibre is found to be similar to 1 degrees compared to similar to 0.1 degrees for the single-mode.
