摘要
The characteristic of Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) was briefly introduced in this paper, and some practical applications of FPGA were also explained in radar imaging signal processing. Radar imaging is real time imaging, so it demands that the signal processor can process signal with high speed and real time. The application of which FPGA and DSP chip or other chips combine can easily satisfy high speed and real time signal processing requirement, especially, in Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR) imaging processing. Through experiment testing, system design based on FPGA is feasible and effective, and the system development time is shortened and system agility and stability are also improved. It can completely reach the design aim. in advance.
