摘要
The unexpected characteristics of forestry output results were considered based on traditional evaluation indexes to scientifically evaluate forestry's safety production efficiency in China. Panel data onto 31 provincial administrative regions from 2004 to 2018 were selected. The non-parametric super efficiency SBM-DEA method was used to analyze the temporal changes and regional differences in forestry safety production efficiency. The results show perceptible differences in forestry safety production efficiency between different regions, and 17 provinces have higher forestry safety production efficiency, which offers a time trend of rising volatility. Technological progress is the primary driving force to improve China's Forestry Safety productivity, while the overall level of technical efficiency in various regions is low. This is because the growth of forestry safety productivity is mainly restricted by institutional and management factors. Differentiated safety production management policies have to be implemented regularly to promote the forestry industry's balanced development.
