摘要
Present situation in the field of friction materials science is discussed and new antifriction materials are described. Special attention is paid to polymer carbon plastics UGET and FUT and their modification for the friction units with water lubricant. The advantages of the developed carbon plastics and their modified types consist in high mechanical strength, impact resistance, reliable work under dynamic stresses and high hydrostatic pressures with almost all types of lubrication (water, acids, alkali, oils, hydraulic liquids, and others) and counter-bodies made of different materials (steel, bronze, titanium alloys, ceramics, etc.).
