摘要
The conventional magnetic sensors using an AC or DC magnetic field can't estimate beneficial information about the depth or position of a reverse side crack. Accordingly, we are improving an electromagnetic non-destructive testing (NDT) system, i.e. a rotational magnetic flux sensor with a three axis search coil, to estimate it. This improved magnetic sensor can obtain some effective information on the depth or position of the reverse side crack on a thick steel plate. The experimental results show the validity of this improved rotational magnetic sensor. In this paper, we present the construction of the rotational magnetic flux sensor and experimental results.
