Getting the special properties of the Fe-Al-C alloys by means of inducing of phase and structural changes

摘要
Phase and structural changes in polycrystal samples of Fe-Al-C alloy which are neccessary for getting of optimal durable and magnetic characteristics have been induced by quenching, cooling to - 196 degreesC, low temperature tempering or pulse laser irradiation, At that in the alloys a metastable phase-n-structure state with main peculiarity-presence in austenite and martensite matrix of an ordered carbide submicrovolumes of Fe4-yAlyCx which crystal lattice keep coherent to crystal lattices of matrix have been formed. On primary stages of low temperature tempering in Fe-4 wt. % Al-2 wt. % C alloy the meaning of coercitive force is increasing and hardness of an alloy is decreasing. These changes have been explained by coherence breaking between crystal lattices of K-f submicrovolumes and alpha -martensite. It have been established that the analogous changes of magnetic properties in nearsurface layer about 1 mm can be induced.
