摘要
Fabrication and characterization of polymer microneedle arrays, compatible with in-vivo glucose sensing, is described. The process generates a polymer microneedle electrode array comprised of an on-chip working, counter and reference electrodes. Glucose oxidase was entrapped in an o-phenylenediamine/sulphonated-beta-cyclodextrin polymer matrix at working electrodes The sensor array demonstrated glucose detection over the range of 0.5 - 19.5 mM.An interference study and a preliminary cytotoxicity study were carried to assess the sensors potential for future use in interstitial fluid.
