Information Technology Management in the Regions

The relevance of the study is confirmed by the fact that qualitative changes in the economic, sociopolitical and spiritual spheres of social life, due to the intensive development and use of modern information and communication technologies, marked the movement of humanity to a new phase of development-the information society. The study focuses on the application and implementation of the most widespread and large-scale KOF globalization index in the world economy. The purpose of this study is the state of informatization in the regions of the Russian Federation. To achieve this goal, the following tasks were solved: the concept of "Information society" and "information technology" was studied, the Strategy for the development of the information society in the Russian Federation for 20172030 was presented, the regional Informatization was analyzed, the problems of regional informatization were identified, the structure of the regional information management system was presented. This paper uses theoretical and empirical research methods, such as literature review, system analysis and review of world statistics. This article uses economic-mathematical and statistical methods of analysis. Sources of information are economic and other specialized literature, articles from periodicals, research results, experience of leading foreign companies. The result of this study is the conclusion about the development of modern information and communication technologies. The growing amount of information increasingly determines the essence of our era. The latest information technologies have a huge transformative impact on all spheres of modern society, both within national borders and in the world as a whole.
