G-CSF accelerates tissue regeneration in wound healing under diabetic conditions

摘要
The effect of G-CSF on wound healing in diabetic mice was studied in the wound healing model of the ear of hairless mice. Daily application of G-CSF (i. p.; 120 mu g/kg) significantly accelerated both epithelialisation and neovascularisation, indicating improved wound healing, probably by a modulation of the local immune response and induction of fibroblast and endothelial cell proliferation and migration.
