摘要
The penetration of Ga into various polymers (polyethylene, polyimide, polystyrene, polyethyleneterephtalate and polytetrafluoroethylene) was studied in the temperature interval from 5-80 degrees C. The amount of incorporated Ga was determined by using a Cahn electrobalance and its concentration depth profiles by Rutherford backscattering. It was found that the Ga penetrates into polymers only from liquid phase and the Ga content in the samples increases with temperature and exposition time. Under the same experimental conditions, the Ga content is inversely proportional to the polymer density.
