摘要：

The paper collects from previous scholarship and increases intertextual references between Pietro Bembo's Rime and Dante's 'rime per la donna Pietra', considering the mediation of models offered by Petrarch. The analysis is carried out in a chronological perspective, through the different 'forms' of Bembo's book of poetry, and aims at tracing the evolution of Bembo's asperitas, from early 'petrosita' to mature asperitas/gravitas.
