Taiwan's 2020 Presidential, Vice Presidential and Legislative Election: Testing Election Theories

This article assesses the status of theories of Taiwan's election winners and losers, looking at the 2020 campaign and the election results. Both seemed to prove the pendulum (alternating party) theory. But the evidence was weak, mainly coincidental, while other constructs and ideas played a major role.
