On a circular inclusion with inhomogeneous imperfect interface in plane elasticity

In Sudak et al., a general method is developed for the rigorous solution of a circular inclusion with inhomogeneously imperfect interface in plane elasticity. In this paper, the authors extend the results presented in Sudak et al. by finding exact closed-form solutions of a more general case arising from a choice of interface parameters that leads to a coupled and seemingly intractable system of differential equations. The results again illustrate how the pointwise variation of the parameter describing the interface imperfections has a pronounced effect on the average mean stress within the inclusion.
