摘要:
In this study, a new magnetic iron oxide-dichromate hybrid nanomaterial is introduced. The magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles have been synthesized by co-precipitation manner. Then, tetraethyl orthosilicate as a source of silica has been applied for creation of core-shell nanoparticles iron oxide-silica. Iron oxide-silica was functionalized using (3-chloropropyl) trimethoxysilane and triethylamine. The cationic part was organized for immobilization of anionic part of the Cr(VI) catalysts with dichromate to give [Fe3O4/SiO2/N(C2H5)(3)](2)Cr2O7. The structure of the catalyst after immobilization was specified using elemental analysis, X-ray fluorescence, X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared and solid state UV-Vis. The particle size and morphology were recognized by scanning electron microscope and XRD. Superparamagnetic behavior of nanoparticles was corroborated by vibrating sample magnetometer.
