摘要
This article presents a dual-frequency triangular chip antenna suitable for WLAN operation in the 2.4-GHz band (2400-2484 MHz) and 5.2/5.8-GHz bands (5150-5350 MHz/5725-5875 MHz). The proposed triangular chip antenna in this stud v comprises a right-angle, isosceles triangular FR4 base of thickness 1.6 mm and area 72 mm(2) and, on the top surface of the FR4 base, a metal line pattern with two branch radiating strips is printed, which generates two separate wide resonant modes for the desired dual-frequency WLAN operation. Experimental results of a constructed prototype mounted on one of the corners of a grounded substrate (about the size of a compact flash card) are presented and discussed.
