摘要
Different cultivars of Chinese kale were studied for their morphological and seed production characteristics in the spring and autumn of 1995. Based on morphological characteristics such as flower petal color, leaf shape, and leaf color. These cultivars were classified into the following five types: W-A = White petals, deep green leaf color, leaf shape orbicular or ovate and rugose; W-B = White petals, deep green leaf color, leaf shape ovate or elliptic; W/Y = plants similar to W-B, however, some plants have white petal color, others have yellow petals; Y-A = yellow petals, light green leaf color, leaf shape orbicular; and Y-B = yellow petals, leaf color is slightly light green, leaf shape is ovate. It was observed that seed production differed between cultivars. The number of seeds per silique were slightly higher in W-A types when compared with other types. Seed weight was greater in W-B types.
