摘要:
Both laboratory and field tests were performed at a granite weathered residual deposit to evaluate the deformational characteristics at strains from 10(-4)% to 1%. A special undisturbed sampling device was developed. Degree of weathering varied significantly and obtaining representative undisturbed samples was quite difficult in the site. The procedure for evaluating the deformational characteristics of the granite weathered residual deposit was proposed. In this procedure in situ average moduli determined by crosshole and PMT were effectively combined with laboratory normalized modulus reduction curve which was insensitive of weathering and sampling disturbance.
