摘要
In this study, thermoplastic polymer politetrafloretilen (PTFE) is known that the trade name as teflon was used for the modification of bitumen and the effect of additive on the rheological properties of bitumen was investigated. To determine rheological properties of bitumen with and without PTFE additive were examined by rheometer, penetration, softening point, DSR (dynamic shear rheometer), RTFOT (rolling thin film oven test), PAV (pressure aging vessel), BBR (bending beam rheometer) and were applied stripping and Marshall tests related to performance. The effect of additive on the glass transition temperature and surface energy of the bitumen were examined by differential scanning calorimeter (DSC) and differential surface analysis (DSA). Experimental studies eventually, were determined to decrease in rutting in modified bitumen by 54% and the mixing process after modified aged bitumen by 29%.
