摘要
Practical aspects of implementing a construction joint venture (JV) in China are considered. The current market conditions for foreign direct investment (FDI) and the rapid development of Sino-foreign construction JVs since the economic reform are critically examined. Approval procedures for establishing construction JVs along with relevant laws and regulations are presented. China's huge potential and the opportunities for both foreign and Chinese companies are detailed for construction JV's in infrastructure, industrial projects, housing, public sector and commercial buildings.
