摘要
Monitoring and testing on ancient timber structures are considered to be very important and necessary to ensure that whether the structures are in good situation. The basic theories and methods as well as their current developments of these technologies which contain monitoring technology for temperature, humidity and other building environmental information, non-destructive testing technology for timber material properties and the structural health monitoring systems are introduced in this paper. The advantages and disadvantages of these technologies are presented after comparison. This paper also analyses the application and existing problems of these technologies. The development trend of the technology of monitoring and testing for ancient timber structures is put forward at last.
