In recent years the bullying phenomenon is becoming increasingly encountered in the schools of Romania, and the effects on the victim are often devastating from an emotional and behavioral point of view. If in the English language the term is called short and comprehensive "bullying", in Romanian language the term refers to the behavior of the abuser that repeatedly and intentionally persecutes, injures, and verbally, relationally and/or physically intimidates the victim. The present study aims to analyze three cases of bullying. The subjects are three children of 10 and 11 years. They were victims of verbal and physical violence in school. We were interested to understand the relationship of these children with peers and teachers, how they perceive and interpret what happened, the mechanisms used to deal with the situation. We focused on the consequences of bullying, its impact on children and families. Equally we wanted to outline several directions on the action that should be taken to effectively address this problem. Explaining the process through which the bullying effects manifest at the level of emotional, cognitive, and behavioral life in children, we consider the problem of bullying phenomenon a theme of important reflection for all educational factors.
