摘要
We have successfully synthesized undoped and manganese (Mn) doped tin sulphide (SnS) nanoparticles (NPs) using chemical precipitation method. Herein, we have studied optical properties of SnS NPs using UV-visible absorption and photoluminescence (PL) spectroscopy. We have studied effect of Mn doping on optical bandgap of SnS NPs. Optical band gap of SnS NPs get widen at different percentage (1.0, 2.0 and 5.0%) of Mn doping. PL spectra at 660 nm suggest band to band transition which supports UV-visible absorption findings.
