摘要
This descriptive study of the bibliographic review type, based on the historical-logical methods, content analysis and hermeneutics, aimed to reflect critically on the challenges and challenges of higher education and business in the adoption of the dual training model, from this analysis provide criteria that contribute to the theoretical construction and foundation of the improvement of its implementation. Among the main findings is the normalization of this modality of dual vocational training in Ecuador through the Regime of Academic Regime, not without cracks. Although there are some experiences in higher education, its implementation is still insipient, marked by a limited link between companies, shortcomings in the employment of graduates and insufficient use of the training process to integrate into the business sector.
