摘要：

This article aims to identify the barriers to the execution of the strategy in an organization. The study is classified as exploratory and descriptive of nature applied by the quantitative method, using the transversal survey technique, having as a universe of research Brazilian companies that have a turnover in excess of R $ 120 million per year. The study population consisted only of top management. The main contribution generated by the study is to point out the lack of a clear strategy, making it difficult to implement and execute in organizations, as well as the difficulty of identifying priorities according to the strategy outlined.
